1. I still laugh everytime I go down the jeepney and realize I’ve counted again. I just developed that habit the moment I say “para” (stop) to the jeepney driver, and wait for the vehicle to stop, that I start counting in my head until I get off the jeep. Imagine me waiting for the jeepney to stop and counting while I go down…. 123456789101112131415 hahaha…

2. I miss the basement big time.  I stayed at the apartment across the Seminary’s dining hall for 6 months and I simply loved that place. Several reasons why I do:
I don’t need an electric fan because the place is cool. After a tiring graveyard shift, I simply crash on my bed and reach my dreams. The place is dark too, so I don’t really think I am sleeping in the morning. I am alone at the place, so I own the bathroom, the kitchen and the rooms. I own it all. I miss playing LOUD music. I also miss my wurdo habit of closing the faucet at my bathroom when I am using the shower. Hahaha! Dumb dumber. I use the shower knob and enjoy the cool water, then turn the faucet to close it. haha. Of course I need the shower knob to stop the shower; hahaha need to explain more? Sigh. I miss the place. I miss the place… I miss the place…

3. I feel strange everytime I escape from the Seminary premises. I feel like the world outside always has something new, or that I have missed on alot of things. I ride the jeepney and always ask how much the fare is now, then get annoyed at the pollution and traffic- things that I am very used to before.

4. I am fat. The worst part is, I started gaining weight during the Christmas season- lo and behold, in a few days it IS Christmas time again. This has to stop.

5. Sometimes I wish I were just an ordinary 23 year old girl (No I don’t exactly know what an ordinary 23 year old does) haha. It is both funny and annoying that some of the young people feel tricked every time I tell them my age. They would be stunned and even shout: “What? I am older than you?” or “What? You’re 23? I thought you’re 30!” Then they’d go as far as not believing! Well to all young people, I am 23, turning 24 next year hahahahahahah! take it.

6. I keep on giving dates for future events in my life, even creating plans beyond control. Not that I disregard the “Lord” aspect, I just sometimes imagine the future. It is fun. haha.

7. I haven’t had my nails done for two months now. Sucker that my toenails still wear the same nail polish since and just can’t find the opportunity to go to the spa, and sit down for two hours. My back also needs the well deserved massage. Sigh…

8. I was challenged and promised that if I get straight As this new semester I will receive a treat. I got excited, then the pastor said Starbucks… and I was like… ??? what? haha. Maybe if that meant a whole year supply of Starbucks gift certificates. LOL

9. For my sabbath year in relationships, I have “accumulated” (what a word) a new set of crushes. hahahaha. The funniest thing is it has included way younger guys than me, and way older guys. I truly never got bored hahahahahaha. I am excited for the coming year. Rawwwr for the comeback!

10. With the serious stuff, I have to get serious with my goals. I have to change for the better. I have to aim high and soar above the sky…. hahahahahaha. Or people will shut me out. They won’t love me anymore. huhuhu. j/k. Seriously- I must. I must sleep now and meet dreamland. Laaaaa….

When I’ve got nobody to talk with
and I don’t feel like sleeping…
Here’s what I come up with:
Talk to the screen hahaha!
Or write my thoughts
I should say~ LOL

Good night!

I forgot how I stumbled upon your blog. But I”m very glad I did. I think I just wish you were someone I knew.

Anyways, seminary huh? good luck with that. That’s only but a dream and a prayer for me. Likewise, I’m 23. I know how you feel because people tell me the same. =D

Peace and blessings to you from the US, Cali.

hey! :-) it is nice to hear from someone my age who feels the same. So why haven’t you gone to seminary? My grandparents are living in Vallejo and several of my relatives are in San Jose. Where are you in CA?

Im from the great city of Norwalk by way of Long Beach. LOL.

I haven’t gone to seminary because… I’m hesitant. and a little scared.
